Description: As a sales consultant, the successful candidate is responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of customers to maximize profits from foodservice equipment sales and AERE’s value-added services.  The qualified candidate must be a strategic thinker and innovative planner who can identify business opportunities, build positive customer service relationships, develop and maintain account relationships, and creatively utilize the resources available.  This position requires a substantial amount of local and regional (DC, MD, NOVA) travel.
Responsibilities include: Secure and grow new customer opportunities, which includes strategic cold calling; manage existing customers to best fulfill their business needs; manage pricing; continuously learn the market, equipment and customers; and all other duties as assigned.

Equipment Technician and Installer (Chick here to apply)

Location: Springfield, VA
Empee Type: Full-Time, Plus On-Call Rotation of one week/month.
Compensation: Base salary +hourly for on-call work.

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (5yrs)
  • Clearance of a DOT physical and DOT drug screen

Description: As an Ice/Install Technician, the successful candidate will work independently to service AERE’s ice machine equipment in our accounts, and work as a team with our install crew to deliver and install foodservice equipment.  AERE will provide extensive training on its ice machine rental/service program.  Upon completion of training, you will become a trusted advisor to AERE’s customers by consistently maintaining and preventing equipment failure in each customer’s restaurant.
Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will be that unique individual who has a high level of mechanical and diagnostic ability and strong customer service skills.  The job responsibilities include loading, unloading (e.g. kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach and lift and carry up to 120lbs), transporting, installing, and repairing AERE’s leased equipment in restaurants and other commercial foodservice establishments.  The majority of your work day will be in the field, so you must be self-motivated with the proven ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
