The funny thing about our great industry is that once you get a job in it, you never really leave. That is certainly the case for Erwin Zilker, who joined AERE in December 2019 after already posting 16 years in the industry. As with most of us, he started as a server and worked his way up to restaurant management before moving on to managing operations for a local catering business. AERE was lucky to add Erwin to our sales team roster where his depth of experience in foodservice operations translates well into foodservice equipment consulting and sales. And, having once been one of AERE’s rental customers, he stands ready to walk you through our dish and ice machine rental/service program.

Pat Busby’s 25 years of experience in the foodservice industry covers a wide swath of experience – restaurant cook, restaurant owner, grocery department head, and now an Equipment Consultant for AERE since 2014. Pat’s experience as a restaurant owner and with retail/grocery sales, gives him a unique perspective that combines operations with a retail savy eye. He is able to assist you with heavy to light equipment recommendations, smallwares, tabletop, furniture selection, and AERE’s Dishwasher and Ice Machine Leasing program.

Melissa’s love for the restaurant industry began while growing up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she started working at the pizza shop down the street at age 14. All through high school, college, and the years that followed, Melissa has worked as a cook, hostess, server and bartender for small family owned to large corporate restaurants in PA, NC, FL, DC and VA. While enjoying a position as a designated trainer for the Cheesecake Factory, she discovered she also had a passion for selling. With over 5 years of experience as a Sales Consultant in restaurant supplies and equipment and all the years working in the industry, Melissa is dedicated to building relationships, identifying her customer’s needs and providing the best recommendations that will support the success of their business or organization. Her other passion is music and you can find her singing and playing guitar at bars and wineries around the DC area. She joined the AERE family in 2018.

Debbie has been with AERE since 2006. Her job as our Sales Coordinator could really be called Chief of Staff. She keeps everything and everyone straight – ordering, shipment tracking, receiving, delivery, warranties, manufacturer manuals, and answering all the questions that come up during our busy days.
